Painted from life. My first painting of the new year. The light was cold and bright and streaming through the window beside me. The shapes became almost abstracted.

Painted from life. I was awarded a residency at an artist's house in north Norfolk which was full of geraniums, the old gnarly sort. I painted a whole series of these, this being the first.
